Adiyen, with folded hands and a heart full of humility, welcomes you on behalf of our fellow trustees to this sacred digital abode.
It has been our sincere aspiration to create a divine platform where seekers from all walks of life can access the profound spiritual wisdom of the Śrī Sampradāya. Here, knowledge is not merely shared—it is revered, celebrated, and lived.
The Śrī Sampradāya, one of the four illustrious Vaishnava traditions, lies at the very heart of Sanātana Dharma. Rooted in divine will, it is said to have originated with the blessings of Śrīman Nārāyaṇa and Śrī Mahālakṣmī Thāyār. As Mahālakṣmī is considered the first Āchārya, and as the word “Śrī” is a respectful reference to Her, this lineage is lovingly known as the Śrī Sampradāya.
In this tradition, Śrī Devī plays a vital role as the compassionate mediator between the Supreme Lord and His devotees. Her grace binds the soul to the Guru and the Lord in perfect unity. It is through Her merciful glance that the soul is guided into the loving refuge of Śrīman Nārāyaṇa, and thus, freed from the bondage of worldly suffering.
This Sampradāya is a living expression of devotion, enriched by temple traditions, the sacred teachings of our Āchāryas, the poetic outpourings of the Āḻvārs, and the deep philosophical insights passed down through generations. The Bhakti movement within this tradition, championed by the Āḻvārs, brought the profound truths of the Vedas to the common man—in their own language, in a way they could feel and follow.
The Āḻvārs—not merely saints, but divine incarnations (amsams) of the Lord—sang countless hymns glorifying Śrīman Nārāyaṇa and His avatars. Their compositions, known as the Nālāyira Divya Prabandham, form the Tamil Veda. Among them, Nammāḻvār, steeped in divine love and deep Vedic insight, composed the Tiruvāymoḻi—a crown jewel of 1,102 verses that echo the essence of the Sāma Veda and extol the glories of Śrī Raṅganātha Perumāḷ.
This unbroken lineage was nurtured by great Āchāryas like Śrī Nāthamuni, Śrī Yāmunācārya, and ultimately, brought to its full glory by Śrī Rāmānuja Āchārya, who unified the tradition and presented its philosophy with unmatched clarity and compassion. His life and works, deeply inspired by the hymns of Nammāḻvār, serve as a guiding light for countless generations of devotees.
As beautifully described in tradition:
Nammāḻvār is our natural mother; Rāmānuja is our foster mother, who lovingly nurtures us in spiritual wisdom through the Tiruvāymoḻi.
In this sacred lineage, the divine couple Śrīman Nārāyaṇa and Śrī Thāyār stand at the head of the guru-paramparā, followed by all Āchāryas who carried forward the torch of Truth. By connecting with Rāmānuja’s teachings, we connect directly with the Supreme, through an unbroken chain of enlightened masters.
Today, many of these divine treasures risk fading into obscurity. It is our heartfelt mission to rekindle awareness of this glorious heritage, to preserve and propagate it, and to offer it once again to the world—accessible, engaging, and empowering.
Our trust is committed to:
